Bio
Ana Marta Clemente
Architect licensed by UL-FALUT, with 27 years of national and international experience. She has held technical positions at DGEMN and served as director and manager of an architecture firm in Cape Verde, leading teams and projects. Coordinated a national inventory of handicrafts and the creation of the Integrated Handicraft System in Cape Verde, as well as being a consultant for DGArtes. As an author, she explores artistic creation in pottery and jewelry under the brand Dez Graozinhos di Terra. She co-founded and led cultural projects at Associação Born:Africa, and is co-founder and curator of VOADOR, a platform for Cape Verdean creators. She has taught at university level. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Architecture at the University of Évora and is a member of CHAIA.
